			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The Sunny 16 Rule, otherwise know as the <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sunny_f/16_rule" target="_blank">Sunny f/16 rule</a> is a photography technique where you can correctly estimate daylight exposures without the use of a lightmeter. The rule is to set your aperture to f/16 on a sunny day and have your shutter speed set the same as your ISO settings. <span id="more-132"></span></p>
<p>For example, if you set your ISO to 100, set your shutter speed to 1/100 or 1/125 with the aperture set to f/16.</p>
<p><strong>How about for other lighting conditions?</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Slight overcast &#8211; use f/11</li>
<li>Overcast = use f/8</li>
<li>Heavy overcast &#8211; use f/5.6</li>
</ul>
<p>Remember to set your shutter speed nearest to your ISO settings when using the above aperture settings.</p>
