The Sunny 16 Rule, otherwise know as the Sunny f/16 rule is a photography technique where you can correctly estimate daylight exposures without the use of a lightmeter. The rule is to set your aperture to f/16 on a sunny day and have your shutter speed set the same as your ISO settings.
