flash recharge is NOT acceptable in 2009
I am a die-hard Canon fan, and I was not dissapointed at all with the picture quality. For a small, inexpensive camera, the image quality and features are unbeatable.

This was a gift for my daughter so I haven’t personally used it, but when I spoke to her about it, she simply said she loved it and that it did everything she needed it to do.

Astounding macro shots
This is a nice camera overall, but the macro shooting on the little A480 is positively splendid! The super-macro feature is unbelievably good.

Poorly Built Camera Unworthy of Canon Brand
I just returned my A480 to Amazon after less than one month of use. I’ve previously used Canon cameras and thought they were one of the best point-and-shoot brands.

The camera took a long time to arrive, when it did I was dissapointed. It's bulky and I didn't realize that it needed batteries. I returned it and got the sd1100 instead.
